Child Protection in Schools

The purpose of this online training course is to give you a better understanding of how to recognise, respond to, report, record and refer concerns about a child. It will help you understand your role and responsibilities in protecting children in schools from abuse, neglect and or exploitation and how they relate to your role.

This course will also give you an understanding of the child protection system and the importance of a safer working practice environment. The course is relevant for teachers, cover supervisors, teaching assistants, early years practitioners, regardless of the position being long or short term, who come into contact with children in education.
